Abstract

Background: Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancerrelated mortality worldwide, with limited therapeutic options due to
multidrug resistance and severe toxicity associated with conventionalchemotherapy. Syzygium cumini (Myrtaceae), traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine, contains bioactive phytochemicals with reportedantitumor properties.
