Abstract

Ureteric stones remain a frequent cause of emergency presentations, and proximal ureteric stonespresent unique challenges in management. Both shock wave lithotripsy and ureteroscopy arewidely employed modalities, yet comparative evidence in prospective pediatric and adult cohorts remains limited.
