Abstract

Background: Postpartum hemorrhage(PPH) remains a leading cause of maternalmorbidity worldwide. Oxytocin is thetraditional first-line uterotonic, whereasCarbetocin, a longer-acting analogue, may offer superior uterine tone and reduced need for additional interventions.
