Abstract

Background:Hypertension is a major contributor tocardiovascular and renal morbidity. Serum uricacid (SUA) has been implicated in the
pathogenesis and progression of hypertension;however, its association with disease severity, duration, and target organ damage in the Indianpopulation remains inadequately defined.
