Abstract

BACKGROUND: Supraclavicularbrachial plexus block provides effectiveanaesthesia and postoperative analgesia forupper-limb surgery, but the duration ofbupivacaine analgesia is limited.Dexamethasone can be administeredperineurally or intravenously, and the optimal route remains uncertain.
