Abstract

Background: Hepatocyte Growth Factor(HGF) and its receptor c-MET are involved in breast cancer progression, angiogenesis, invasion, and metastasis. Serum HGF hasemerged as a potential biomarker for tumoraggressiveness. Aim: To evaluate serumHGF levels in breast carcinoma patientsand correlate them with ER, PR, andHER2/neu receptor status.
