Abstract

Forensic science relies on various medical disciplines to address legal questions in criminal and civil cases. Forensic odontology (forensic dentistry) focuses on the careful management, analysis, and interpretation of dental evidence for judicial purposes. Orthodontics, a specialized branch of dentistry, offers unique contributions to forensic identification due to its extensive documentation practices, including study models, radiographs, photographs, and detailed treatment records.
