Abstract

Background: Dengue virus (DENV) infectionpresents a broad clinical spectrum ranging from self limiting febrile illness to severe dengue driven bysystemic immune activation and capillary leakage.Doxycycline possesses immunomodulatory andantiviral properties that may attenuate cytokinemediated inflammatory cascades.
