Abstract

Adenomyosis is a benign estrogendependent uterine disorder characterized bythe presence of endometrial glands andstroma within the myometrium and may be associated with dysmenorrhea, heavymenstrual bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, andreproductive difficulties.
