Abstract

Fixed appliance orthodontic treatment is often linked with greater amounts of plaque retention, and thiscould adversely affect the health of the gums, provided that preventive measures are not taken. The presentcross-sectional observational study sought to measure the impact of the use of orthodontic braces on the level of gingival health and to determine the place of professional scaling frequency
