Abstract

Background: Gut enzymes play a crucial role in gut function and nutrient absorption. Changes in gutenzyme activity could affect the intestinal structure and efficiency of nutrient absorption, resulting ingastrointestinal and nutritional disorders. The present research was designed to assess the activity of gut enzymes and their effect on intestinal structure and efficiency of nutrient absorption in adults
