Abstract

Anxiety is a frequent psychological issue among patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and fatigue is also reported by the patients. Globally, studies have shown a high prevalence of pre-procedural anxiety and fatigue. A randomized controlled study revealed that a significant proportion of patients experienced moderate to severe anxiety before cardiac catheterization, which adversely affected their procedural experience (Malliarou et al., 2022) .
