Abstract

Background: When a lot of women die during childbirth in a region it shows that the regionis not doing well in terms of development and healthcare. This study looks at how manywomen died during childbirth how they were admitted to the hospital and some other factors
like their age and where they lived, over a period of five years at a public hospital in Uttarakhand.
