Abstract

Background: Suicide among children and adolescents has emerged as a major public health concern worldwide and is one of the
leading causes of death in young individuals. Adolescence is a vulnerable period characterized psychological, by emotional, significant
and social changes that may predispose individuals to suicidal behavior. Understanding the epidemiological profile and associated
factors of suicidal deaths is essential for developing effective preventive strategies.
