Association Between Serum Vitamin D Levels and Clinical Severity of Plantar Fasciitis: A Cross-Sectional Study

Abstract

Plantar fasciitis is the most common causeof chronic heel pain, accounting for nearly80% of painful heel disorders encounteredin orthopedic practice. The condition ischaracterized by degeneration of the plantarfascia resulting from repetitive mechanical stress, microtears, and chronicinflammation. Recent evidence suggests
