Background: Post operative sore throat(POST) is a frequent complaint with I-gel for GA. Irritationand inflammation of the airway are considered to be the causes of Post operative sore throat(POST). Postoperative sore throat (POST) is a well-recognised complication that remainsunresolved in patients following I-gel insertion for general anaesthesia. . Avoiding POST symptoms is a major priority for these patients because preventing postoperative complications contributes to patient satisfaction.
