Abstract

The primary objective of the present observational study was designed to examine the interrelationship between static balance, dynamic balance, agility, and change of direction speed (CODS) in young athletes aged 12–18 years. Pre and post evaluation was performed on 60 participants using the Stork Stand Test, “Y” shape, Hexagon Agility Test, T-test. The findings demonstrated that dynamic balance, particularly the posteromedial and posterolateral reach components of the Y-Balance Test, showed the strongest associations with both agility and COD performance. Static balance showed moderate but significant relationships with agility and CODS.
