Abstract

Introduction: Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) are among the most prevalent chronic respiratory conditions worldwide, impacting millions and imposing a significant strain on healthcare systems. Asthma is marked by chronic airway inflammation, leading to variable and recurring symptoms, airflow obstruction, and heightened bronchial responsiveness.Conversely, COPD is a progressive disorder characterized by persistent airflow limitation and respiratory symptoms, mainly due to exposure to harmful particles or gases. Inhalation therapy remains the cornerstone of treatment for both asthma and COPD, as it enables the direct delivery of medication to the airways, providing swift symptom relief and reducing the likelihood of exacerbations.
