Abstract

Background: Acute appendicitis remains acommon emergency surgical condition inwhich timely and accurate diagnosis is essential. Clinical scoring systems,inflammatory biomarkers and cross-sectionalimaging are frequently used together, but their individual limitations may lead to diagnosticuncertainty.
