Abstract

Background:-Autism spectrum disorder also calledASD is identified as issues with communicationand show repetitive behavior. Causes of ASDare complex and are not fully understood,however, they are thought to be multifactorial with genetic components and someenvironmental factors. One such environmentalfactor may be Vitamin D, which is aneurosteroid hormone. ASD and otherneurodevelopmental disorders have a growingamount of evidence for the involvement ofneurosteroids and neuroimmunomodulation
