Background: Esophageal varices are a majorcomplication of liver cirrhosis, and their earlydetection is important for preventing varicealbleeding. Endoscopy remains the reference standard for diagnosis but is invasive, costly,and resource-intensive, which has promptedinterest in simple non-invasive predictors
