Abstract

Background :-Restoration of apical vaginal support is essentialto successful surgical management of advanced uterovaginal prolapse. Vaginal hysterectomyalone may be insufficient in preventingsubsequent vaginal vault prolapse becauseofpersistent weakness of the pelvic supportstructures. Sacrospinous ligament fixation(SSLF) is a means of apical suspension by anchoring the vaginal vault to the sacrospinous
